Peter Yealands says he first started thinking about sustainability when he owned a deer farm. “I accepted nature and worked with it, instead of against it. Instead of shooting deer, I appreciated them.”
Now that he’s a viticulturalist, his ‘inner greenie’ underpins every part of his business. He’s won environmental awards for his work – and his commitment continues to grow as his vineyards expand.
